Hey, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
1) I'd like something with decent protection, but definately not a hard case. 2) I'd also like it to fit really well (not move around a lot inside the bag) 3) I'd like it to have the ability to go around the shoulder Thats it... don't really need any extra space. I have a Nikon D70 with a standard sized lens (25-80mm) I was looking at Tamrac, but they seem a little pricey... Thanks to anyone who can help |

do you plan on getting another lens....
i originally bought a LowePro which was good, but i never use it anymore since i got a EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM which doesn't even begin to fit in the first bag i got.... i then picked up a camera backpack... several companies make them...... i don't remember what brand i got.. pentax i think, but i took the logo off and put my country's flag over it....... the backpack is the way to go, because then you can carry everything......camera, lenses and filters, plus other things, like a book or two, some papers, ipod, charger, keys, etc etc etc..... you can get a shoulder bag, but if you have a decent amount of equipment they can be quite heavy. it is easier to get your camera in a hurry with a shoulder bag than a backpack.... |

Thanks for your reply
I do have a telephoto lens, but if I brought that somewhere I would store it separately. I just want to find a bag that could fit the body and the standard lens. I basically want this except with a strap, and maybe not neoprene.. I would want to go with a shoulder bag because with a backpack, it could bounce around too much. backpacks made especially for cameras are usually padded and have velcro dividers that you can place so your camera is held snuggly.... take a look at them.... they may not fit what you need now, but are worth checking out.
check out a LowePro... sounds like what you want.... lightly padded. zippered closure, usually a small pocket for extra batteries or flashcards...... you can get one that fits your camera perfectly or get a longer one so you have the option of putting a longer lens on.... with a longer bag your camera won't jostle around because there are velcro dividers that support the body http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Toploading/ http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Topl...der_65_AW.aspx http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Topl...der_70_AW.aspx http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Topl...d_Zoom_AW.aspx http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Backpacks/ |
