Says so at the bottom of my AN home/landing page. Is it showing up for others? I just happened to scroll down to see if it was anyone's birthday and there it was.

Wow, I remember it like it was 18 years ago!

I remember April/May/June of 2004 being a time of some "upheaval"/change.

My beloved grandmother (who had a huge hand in raising me in my younger years) died in April, followed a week later by my sweet cat, Porkchop, who we'd had for 15 years. Then the Mighty AppleInsider/AppleNova Schism a month later. And then, in June 2004, I got my very first mobile phone, a little silver Samsung flip model. I used that for three years until something dramatically better came along in the summer of 2007.

I remember that three-month period quite well...personal, social and tech stuff all kinda hitting...boom-boom-boom, 1-2-3.

So, anyway...I guess May 15 is when things kinda locked in?

My user profile shows my join date as 2004-05-15, so, along with others, I was among that initial wave of ship-jumpers, coming here from the old place. 18 years today. Wow, time does fly.
