Just a question: is a move from access to filemaker pro a feasible one?
There's only one database I'll have to migrate with no more than 500 entries. Anyone done this before? It'll be mostly used for printing labels and invoices. Should I also get iWork, or can I handle it with Filemaker alone? Or otherwise use neoOffice... thanks... ps: I'm downloading the demo right now and start playing with it for a while |

Hell yes it is! I am not an expert on database theory but moving from Access to FileMaker is akin to moving from Windows to Mac. Everyone uses the former, but the latter is much better. My dad is a freelance Apple-certified FileMaker developer, and he's made FileMaker databases for several companies with far more than 500 entries. FileMaker is certainly up to the task.
