Everyone,
I have just been informed that Jack Frost IV, aka LoCash, has passed away. His mentor, Ted, got the phone call today and informed some of us. I don't have any details right now but if I hear anything I will post here. Jack was an amazingly kind and creative person, and I'm going to miss him. Whoa. I just did work for one of his old clients. Well...guess that explains the lack of reply on the CC's. Gulp...
 Say it ain't so.I hope it wasn't stress related. He seemed to really overreact a week ago over a simple bit of miscommunication. Like, huge emails where a few sentences might have sufficed. The client has happy, all was well.  Last edited by johnq : 2005-05-31 at 00:17. |

ever since jack made me sign up for a account on this forum, i don't think i've posted but a couple of times. i really can't believe this has happened. it really hurts my heart as i've known him since i was 13 or 14. i've turned to him for a lot of personal advice over the years, and he's gave me a lot of insight about a lot of things. i know secretly i'm hoping this is a prank, but the way things have been lately i don't think there is much room for that. please keep him in your thoughts.

Wow. Never had much communication with LoCash directly, but we were certainly aware of each other, and I consider him a friend from this forum... My condolances to his friends and family and I hope he has the bitchinest Mac setup wherever he is now...

I don't know what to say, this can't be true. I have never known anyone even semi-well that has died. I have to say after reading this my body just felt completely different. I will share more later..., until then, I'll be sitting here with a sick feeling in my stomach.

This is terrible news - my deepest sympathies go out to Jack's family and friends.
I've had a few PMs with Jack and he was always straight up with me. I'm really shocked, saddened and ... I just can't believe it. What can we as a community do? If somebody is organising something or knows his family, please PM me as I would like to extend my sympathies to them also. |
