Everytime I right click something, it seems that the finder crashes and then restarts. And the submenu doesnt appear when I right click, I dont really know what to make of this... any help is appreciated.

Sounds like there's probably a contextual menu item that doesn't want to play. Look in these folders:

/Library/Contextual Menu Items/
~/Library/Contextual Menu Items/

...and try removing files one at a time until Finder stops crashing when you right-click.

Have you got Stuffit Deluxe installed? Or any version of Stuffit? If so, try removing it, and as SpecMode suggests certainly make sure that the Contextual Menu part of Stuffit is gone.

It will be definately the original release of Stuffit Deluxe 11.0.2 which has a bad StuffitCM.plugin. The version of stuffit deluxe 11.0.2 that is now available has a version of this plugin which is installed which no longer causes this problem.

The stuffitCM.plugin version number which doesn't cause the problems is 11.0.2 (Build 628) if you have any older version build you will need to get a hold of the 628 build from allume's support/updates area they have the updated plugin installer available free.
