Well it looks like one iPod problem wasn't enough for me. Now, my Bose sounddock is now a big dock. I was lisenting to some songs and then all of a sudden the sound quit. I checked to see if I hit pause by mistake, still playing. I made sure some how the sound dock was unplugged, the iPod is still showing the charged symbol. So I know it is not unplugged and the conection isn't the problem since it still recieves a charge from the sound dock. It looks like I will be taking this to my local Bose store for replacement or will the apple store replace it?

Maybe you shouldn't have had the iPod glued into it?

You seem to be on the right track as it is, call the Apple people first, they might tell you to go to the Bose store first. Conveniently they are right next door to each other at my local mall (well nearly next door).

Crap, Mac+ just made my mind think. The speakers are still making the humming noise when there was no music playing( could only hear when ear next to speakers). Which made him thought the audio wire going to the dock connection in the iPod got loose some how.I do have the Bose store and Apple store in the same mall as well.

Sorry to hear it - I've been using a Bose sounddock for 6 mths now and it wroks sweet as a nut. Bose and Apple is a great combination.

Life! It lives! There is sound! A simple unplug of the Bose speakers and plug back in fixed it.

Those had to be some scary moments for him though. The first time I almost dropped my iPod I swear I had about 4 strokes at once.
