I say september, right after I purchase my new Powerbook G4 for college. Yes, I'm willing to take one for the Home Team

Never, my 12" is gonna be the fastest little PB ever.

But since we all know that's not true...
January 2005 at the very earliest.
If they don't show up at WWDC '05...well, lets just say they will be here no later than June '05.

Come waste your time with me

Crusader you're a better man than me!

I do agree for a late update like last year just in time for the holiday season. If not by then I would say WWDC 2005.

My source over at *^*$%#)^% tells me that the new Powerbook G5's have been seeded out in black plastic cases for "security."

My Source, Deep Gloat, has also told me the new Powerbook G5's will have firewireless, and go by the codename "Venus."

the man i castrated when he looked at my dog funny, told me, as he lay dying from the blood letting, to be on the look out for a hovercraft powerbook model with not one, not two, but 14 g5 processors...

The earliest has to be around September 2004. Most likely is at Macworld 2005 in January. The latest is WWDC 2005.

Dude, I wandered around in some of the old threads, and we still argue about the same stuff. It is HA-larious!

Squawking and whining about G5 Powerbooks? I had a customer come into the store back about that time and ask to see the G5 Powerbooks. I said and he said yes, they do exist. When I asked him where he saw them he said, "On Apple's website." I said and he said he was going to Circuit City to talk to people who knew what they were doing.

I wonder what ever happened to that guy?

Yep.
