like iPhone but 8mm thin, metal

has WiFi according to Gizmodo. There are apparently a bunch of icons they don't recognize on the home screen, and a bunch of familiar ones. It's sounding like an iPhone without the phone after all.

In the meantime, there's a bit on the back for a WiFi antenna? That's according to Gizmodo. External antenna?

Wonder what the top 1/2" of the device is for, since it doesn't have an ear speaker, not resumably the proximity sensor the iPhone requires.

Yeah - this sounds awesome. iPhone goodness without the phone and ongoing costs. I was holding out for a PSP for so long thinking something like this would come along. Very cool.

I'm not about to be beaten out on a new thread, nor passed over as decidely less cool than pscates, but the itunes WiFi Music Store hath appeared.

...and it better &*^%$ing come out fo the iPhone too!
