Here in Toronto, cell phone provider Fido has introduced flat-rate, unlimited local calling for CAN $45. a month.

Since my clamshell iBook is showing it's age, I've been considering upgrading to a new iBook, and using the unlimited celltime to access the internet from anywhere on the road.

Is this possible? I know to connect a PBook to the net you use a PC Card, but how do you connect an iBook without using Airport?

Both the iBook and the Cell will have Bluetooth. Is BT fast enough for a dialup internet connection?

I already have a dialup provider at home, so I was hoping to use that service to access the net, rather than signup for some fancy cellular company internet plan, where you are billed for how much you download.
