For those of you with an interest in graphics arts and publishing; the problem of converting legacy QuarkXPress documents to Adobe InDesign has come up many times; particularly as it concerns Quark versions 5.X and newer.
blarg blarg is a conversion tool that enables Adobe InDesign users to painlessly convert QuarkXPress 3.3, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x documents into the native InDesign document format. blarg converts QuarkXPress layout elements including, but not limited to: page size, style sheets, fonts, text, images, layers, lines, tables, etc.; provided that InDesign supports the layout item. If you have moved over to InDesign but have many legacy Quark files; there is no hope. You are screwed. I am a loser. Bye. |
