I“m the proud owner of a Dual 2.0GHz G5, but I“ll be selling it to get a MacBook Pro. However, I was thinking about keeping my old 17" Apple Studio Display (not cinema, studio). Is there any chance that I“d be able to use it with my new MacBook Pro? Obviously I know that I“d need an ADC - DVI, since the MacBook Pro only has DVI.
While I know that the MBPs arent out yet, how about people with powerbooks with DVI ports? Have any of you ever hooked up a Studio Display to your powerbooks? Can you set the on/off button to put the pbook to sleep? If it works with the powerbook, is there any logical reason why it may not work with the MacBook Pro? thanks guys |

Of course, if you hook up any display with the right connection then it will work. There are no special displays that don't work with it.
