hello all,
I recently aquired an iBook G3 from a friend of mine, she basicaly sold it to me for 10 dollars. The reason was because the LCD is out, looks like it was stepped on. I connected the iBook to an external LCD and everything worked perfectly. I re-installed Mac OS X Jaguar, because that is what she had. It has 256 MB of RAM, 20 gb hard drive, and 600mHz processor. All works well, except the LCD, do you guys have recommendations, of where I can purchase a new LCD screen and bezel for this thing. I would like to salvage it so I can use it. I really can't afford a new one, and I would like to fix this one. Also, I have G3 B&W that I would like to install Jaguar on, is this possible with the copy I have for the laptop, or no. Thanks. |
