just in case nobody knows, and for everybody else who is just missing the (classic) feature to print folder contents.
Here you go with X: start "print utility.app", drag any folder you want to the docked printer icon. Now you get a print of that particular folder in list view at least (and with all these invisible items). Though I have a strong desire to print out folders with "icon view". Any ideas how to do that? Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. --Philip K. Dick |

Print Window will do that. The Standard version is freeware.

I was more than a little surprised that Panther didn't alleviate this obviously overlooked feature. Hope they get around to that little detail one day...until then I hope the author of Print Windows makes some money!

screenshot (CMD-Shift-3 or 4 to draw, option to select active window) now defaults to pdf
said pdf is printable. not quite as elegant but same. |
