I wanted to know if anyone out there has any suggestions for me in regard to the use of my PowerBook Battery. I am wondering if it will prolong the life of my battery if i don't even use it when I am at home or the office and I have a power adapter available. Why don't I just charge the battery and take it out and save it for later use, especially if i won't use the battery power for a couple of days. If batteries only have a limited life, will this help prolong the life? Thanks for any advice!

You definitely should not keep your PB plugged in for days with the battery in it. But I wouldn't take it out, but simply remove the power cord once the battery is full, and then charge it again when it's empty. This way, you don't run the danger of pulling the cord without a battery inside, and get much better battery life.
