Or "oohhh, she is still wearing a shirt." Or perhaps "oohh, the URL is not from Murbot's iDisk, therefore it's not him! LIAR!!!"

That looks like a rather large and thick laptop. Maybe to match... uh, nevermind.

You have to get it uploaded to a site somewhere, somehow. Then take the URL and...you know what...

Just e-mail it to me (my info is in my profile), I'll upload it to my .Mac folder and display it for you.

Someone else can explain what I was attempting to in the first paragraph (but I don't have the patience or focus to follow through).

Wow, Xaqtly! I thought that Garage Band was a silly toy for dolts. But now that I've heard your creations, I will have try out GB and see what I can come up with. Being a lawyer sucks. I've always wanted to be a DJ, make music, and get the hot chicks.

I'll post a setup pic with my new 12-inch PowerBook in the very near future.

I've been waiting for a true sub-PowerBook for more than 10 years. The 11-inch MacBook Air finally delivers on all counts! It beats the hell out of both my PowerBook 2400c and my 12-inch PowerBook G4 -- no contest whatsoever.

Yes, I am using the foam packing inserts that came with my Powerbook as a stand.

I find it amazing that you can spend $6000 on displays and not put down $200 for a decent digital camera

$200 would buy the misses and me dinner, maybe in a nice restaurant looking out of hong kong harbour. I am, however in the market for a pro Digital SLR.

what's this line for?

I'm building a custom desk, and here's a photo album that will show how its going. I'll update it as I finish.

Here's what its basically going to look like:

edit: ASCII art doesn't scale well from TextEdit.

The legs are actually bookshelves, and so is the thing on top. The table is birch plywood.

It's in the rack now, along with an Xserve RAID and a bunch of fibre drives.

I'll take a pic or two tomorrow. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing setup, but it functions beautifully.
