Can I connect a graphite Base Station's ethernet jack to an imac and get an internet connection off of Airport? Thanks!

not with the graphite I don't think... if you had a snow you might have a better chance... but afaik the graphite ethernet port is for a broadband connection only....

take a look on apple's support site http://www.apple.com/support they should have documentation for the graphite base station...

i really dont see why not. the ethernet jack on the graphite is usually hooked up to your modem or port on a router. you may need a crossover cable. but, probably not, as most recent macs have autosensing ethernet ports. you also may not be able to set up the base station to acquire its own IP via DHCP either. set up your mac to share its internet connection and manually assign the WAP a unique IP on your subnet and give the it your mac's IP as a gateway IP.

[edit] bugger! i think i misunderstood what you are trying to do. i first read it as you are trying to set up a WAP off of your imac. does your imac not have an internet connection? if youre trying to use the WAP as an airport card, then no. i dont think its gonna fly. FYI, the iMac 350 is the first model to have an airport expansion slot.
