So, in the light of Rogers's appallingly bad plans for iPhone, I'm trying to get a feel for how much data people actually use. So, can any of you guys with an iPhone currently (and your lovely unlimited plans...grrr) have a quick peek at the bill and let me know how much data you really use?

400 MB per month?!

My EDGE Network Data says I've sent 56.1 MB and received 375 MB since the last reset...which was never (I activated mine on November 30, 2007). Plus, I've only used 3 days, 10 hours worth of call time in that period.

I'm interested to see the results of your poll.

Wow, I thought the prices would be higher, they still suck though. Looks like I'll just get a iPod Touch and stick with my Motorola phone.

US

Canada

Anyway if the US tarifs aren't correct, it could just be worst. Thank you Rogers ! No iPhone for me !

That is an incredibly crappy plan. And as for my iphone, I've only downloaded 523 MB ad uploaded 105 MB since October.

I look over my past year with the iPhone and only broke 100MB once. I do consider myself a light user. Mostly I'm in the 30 to 50MB range.

When 3G hits, I suspect people will be downloading a lot more. Streaming radio FTW.

I think it's a little difficult to get to those amounts of data levels using EDGE. I usually use around 25-50MB/month.

I've used ~ 200 MB total since April, so I think I'd be fine.

Mostly when I'm on my iPhone browsing, I'm on WiFi.

Dunno! The O2 plan here in the UK is the same as the AT&T one, unlimited. So I have never botherd to check, and can't really be bothered too - sucks to be an iPhone wannabe in Canada!

OK, I have given up keeping this sig up to date. Lets just say I'm the guy that installs every latest version as soon as its available!

Thatnks guys. I'll probably end up getting the 2nd tier for the minutes, rather than the extra data.

Interesting stuff.

Quick check for EDGE was around 130kbps. Don't have a 3G device... AT&T claims their 3G network speed ranges from 600kbps-1.4Mbps.

I'd be really curious to see Kraetos' usage patterns since he's the only one here to break that 400 MB/month barrier. Is your iPhone your primary connection to the internet at times, Kraetos? Do you watch lots of videos while traveling?

Sorry, I mis-voted!
I'm averaging about 80Mb a month.

>2Gb would be insane, but I'm sure someone, somewhere is using that much.
