Congratulations Microsoft.
You have made my evening with one of the most hilarious videos I have ever seen. (Putting aside the fact that you should say "uppercase" instead of "caps lock" |

That is gold.
So many choice quotes to choose from. "Delete ... none of the fuck as @ like you like your Windows" |

That is funny, but the guy doing it was kind of stupid. Why the hell did he keep saying Thank You, if the dumb thing was typing everything he said? And I like how every time he sniffled, it typed: if.

"Thank you" is supposed to make it stop typing.

OK, to tell you the truth, you can't blame speech recognition for confusing "times" with the times sign/multiplication symbol/"x" and all variants thereof. Sometimes, it's easier to just type the freaking document though, especially when you're typing freaking code!
I do like it, however, when it decides to make the one "Info" all caps while making the other "info" into just "Info." Nice to know too that "fuck" is in the dictionary. |

That. Was. Hilarious.
I'm caching that for the next time I get a Newton joke lobbed my way from a Windows user. |

In all honesty, I'm rather impressed with how well it did... especially when he threw a lot at it quickly. I would have been hard pressed to transcribe his first to attempts at the last few lines. Speech recognition is designed for the semantics of regular English -- not the strange clutter of symbols and capitals of a programming language. I'd like to see someone try to write a letter with it.
Regardless, I can't believe that it wrote "none of the fuck as @ like you like your windows." |

I was really impressed by this too. I think it is really funny though. I was laughing out loud over this one. I've used voice recognition software many times before and I like the way this one interacted.
I think his choice was a little strange. I'm no thinking it was designed for code writers, but it did pretty well. I think I laughed so hard because I have to voice controlled voicemail service that is just as frustrating to talk to sometimes. I've had to just hang up and call again because I would say things it didn't understand and I would end up calling some number I've never heard of before.
