Okay, I know this is rather random, but I've always been curious how to do this...

The trick is to tie a knot in a length of rope without letting go of the two ends. I've read how to do it, but I've never been able to do it for myself.

Here are instructions:

Is anyone else able to do this? Am I missing something? Could I please be subject to better instruction?

Have you tried sort of tying your arms in a knot before picking up the ends of the string and then untying your arms? I may have to try it, I guess.

Ugh.

Ah. Genius! I didn't get what they meant by crossing your arms, but now I get it. Success!

Thank you!
