OK, well just last night I got back from a two week vacation to the Dominican Republic, and took about a hundred photos on my Canon Powershot camera. Tonight I'm trying to download the photos, but the computer refuses to read the disk.
It's an MS-DOS formatted Compact Flash disk, and I've tried just about everything. It won't mount, and neither Disk Utility nor DiskWarrior will even allow me to repair it. I don't have immediate access to a PC machine, and I don't know if it will work any better on one of them. I verified that the camera can still read the card, although I didn't let it in very long since I don't want it to mess things up any worse. Any suggestions? I want those photos. |

Have you tried just connecting the camera to the computer and uploading from the camera? Granted it's not as fast, but it's an extremely simple fix.
