Thinking about getting this monitor but im unsure about a few things... - Will my ibook with screen spanning doctor support the 1440 x 900 resolution? - Will I be able to play ps3 at 720p on it? I only has a vga, no dvi. I know it works for xbox 360 - Is it really any good, I mean for such a cheap price there has to be a catch! Thanks |

Kinda hard to know what you'll be able to do with the ps3 since it's not out yet. Supposedly the ps3 will have dual HDMI outputs so it wouldn't work with a VGA input. The ps3 will have to offer some kind of analog output unless Sony wants to shun a majority of the gaming community. Although analog output will probably be of the composite/component variety.

Can't answer your specific questions, but I have about 25 of the 17" 4:3 version of those Acer screens and they're ok. Not great. But OK.
