Weather here in Vancouver has been BAD in the last 3 weeks. Only yesterday (the day when the eclipse happened) was clear and today it's back to raining again.

Anyway, I got a few pictures of the luna eclipse and here's one of them

You lucky dawg! It was cloudy down here all night and I didn't get to see a thing.

Nice photos!

I went outside several times last night during the game, to check on the moon. Saw it fairly well, looking, at various stages, pretty much like Leonis' photos above.

At one point, quite orange-ish and eerie-looking.

Centuries and centuries ago - before people got smart and someone figured out what was going on - I'm sure things like this caused some minor freaking-out episodes.

Nice photo, Leonis...

You should submit it to the collection here.

I was teaching during most of it , but did pause and take the class out to look briefly near peak.
By the time I was done and away from eeevil light pollution (otherwise decent seeing here), it was waning past 40% again and my scotch seemed darker tone.

Seen a few nice ones, including one from Vancouver during Hale Bopp year, IIRC.

It was interesting to see people on the street all pointing and exchange students snapping photos.

I saw it, it was nice here in Chicago, bit on the chilly side, but very nice otherwise.

Leonis, did you shoot these purely with camera lenses or through your scopes?

I was marching in a parade during the eclipse. We got off the route just five minutes before peak, and I was very lucky the parade started earlier than scheduled.
