Am I missing something here, or is there a blatant oversight in the interoperation of iCal and Address Book?

When you make a new event in iCal, there's a Location field you can fill in underneath the Event Title. Why is this field a simple text box? Is there really no way I can have the location field point to an address in my Address Book? I mean, the Address Book has enough dexterity to store people addresses (friends' houses) and locations (movie theatres, restaurants, bars). Isn't it obvious that the events in your calendar are often going to be located at the addresses you already have stored in your address book? And wouldn't it be nice to be able to access the card associated with that location directly from your calendar, instead of having to copy redundant information like phone numbers into the notes section?

The birthday calendar has an addressbook URI. Is there at least a way to figure out the URI of a person in my addressbook? Then I can paste it in the corresponding event.

Cheers, mers
