Since the speculation of the Rev B iMac G5 is probably true (or damn close) I have a question.
I bought a Rev A iMac G5 about a month ago and also got Apple Care. Let's say if in about 6 to 12 months from now my current iMac dies and needs a new midplane will Apple replace it with a Rev A or Rev B model ? |

You will get a 'rev.a' midplane...
Apple will only replace the part with it's equal. Don't worry, if there is a known problem and they fixed it in rev.b then your board should have the 'fix' too... In fact they already killed off a few problems with updated logic boards, and if you just bought your's then it should have these changes. no sig, how's that for being a rebel! |
