Does anyone know how to hook up a iPod to a Pre Out in the back of a receiver in say a car? I tried an RCA Cable but I don't think it worked..Does anyone know how to go about doing this?

You can't hook it up to a pre-out. It is line-lever output used to hook your receiver to a secondary amp to drive you pimped-out 1200 watt subwoofers. That is not a second input like what you want it to be.

Alpine makes several head units that will control an iPod.
Last I checked, a few more of the car stereo makers were also looking to add head units that would control an iPod. I have an Alpine that will, I just dont yet own an iPod! Different Strokes, for Different Folks. And So On and So On, and Skoobie Doobie Doobie. |
