Woo hoo! I passed my licensure exam! From now on, all advice will be charged by the letter. I didn't think I'd be able to do it, considering I only studied for 2 weeks and most people study for anywhere between 3 and 4 months, but my spidey-guessing-sense worked! It wasn't even a "barely" pass. I could have gotten a couple dozen more questions wrong and still passed That's a relief... I never have to pass another test again!
* well, I'm provisionally licensed, meaning I need another year of supervision documented, but for all intents and purposes, that just means I need another year of someone signing off on my notes. Then I'm free to fuck people up all on my own. If it's not red and showing substantial musculature, you're wearing it wrong. |

So does this mean now that when you tell someone on here that they're nucking futs, it's a *professional* opinion?
Congrats! |

Congrats. Out of curiosity how many years of university study / what level of degree is required to be a shrink up yonder in the arctic tundra? I imagine the incidence of depression is relatively high there due to the weather in many places. Similar to what it is in the nordic countries probably?

Are you a clinical psychologist? Your education has possibly been 5 - 8 years though. Not really something to be joking about. Becoming a professional is something to be proud. Should be taken as an honor. Hopefully you became a psychologist help people.
I'm a professional myself, a Registered Nurse. Enjoy helping people. |

So can I get notes from you now? The pharmacist always gives me a weird look when I hand him my weekly french (Powerdoc) prescription for those 1000 vicodin.
If anything happens...BOOM, insanity plea, I'll fly you out |

Thanks guys! For those who are curious, I spent 5 years in grad school, one year on internship and so far one year in post-doc (first of 2). After this year (it would be 6 months if I didn't do research too), I'll be fully licensed. It's been a long road, but one that's not been unpleasant.
And, yes, if I pronounce anyone "nucking futs" it's my professional opinion. If it's not red and showing substantial musculature, you're wearing it wrong. |
