Hi,
I recently got an Epson R300 photo printer, and it's working great with my mac. However, I picked up some Epson 4x6 photo paper, and am having problems getting borderless prints. I'm using iPhoto, and I think I have all the settings right. It is printing all the way to the border on the left and right, but there's a 1/2 cm white strip across both the top and the bottom. I found the setting in iPhoto that is supposed to enlarge the photo to get rid of the borders (and it's at max, the default) but it doesn't seem to do anything. The photo is a standard size I took from my digital camera. I haven't resized it or anything. Has anyone gotten this to work? |

In the editing section, where you can crop photos, there is a drop-down menu for Constrain. Set this for 4x6 and then make sure that the crop area is as small as possible (resize it if necessary) and then click the Crop button to crop. Then print and you should be perfectly borderless. |

FFL is correct....Most (if not all) digital cameras do not shoot proportional to 4X6 or 8X10 or any 'standard' size. You will probably need to actually make the image a 4X6 to get a borderless print.
