Or make it so that when they go to post a new thread, it makes the video pop up.

And if you wanted to be really evil, somehow make it so that they cant post new threads until they have watched the entire video. Dont know how that would work, but it would be pure sadistic fun (and it might reduce a few lame-ass threads in the process).

That's kinda cute. The hook of it, and all.

I think it would be neat to expand on it, with a full-on video (or a better Flash one) to really play up that 1950's "Mr. Bungle" vibe.

Could be something quite hilarious, AND useful.
