I had an issue with one of my (most-used) email accounts, and thoughtlessly just deleted the account and reentered the credentials to get it working. It's an IMAP account, so I figured I was fine.
However, I seem to have lost a bunch of emails in the account's Sent folder. I have my Time Machine backups, so I figure I can just restore the folder. Does anyone have instructions on restoring an entire email folder? I've only used TM to restore individual files thus far. |

Mail is stored in the "~/Library/Mail/" folder. There is a subfolder there depending on the version of Mail you're running.

I would probably just get the folder (search via Turtle's instructions) and then safe the sent folder to your desktop. From there tell mail to import the folder. It should import it, and you can then move them back to the sent folder.

Yes, thanks to you both. I did successfully restore the folder to the desktop, and will attempt to reintegrate it soon.
