Ok, vague I guess. I'm planning on buying a new powerbook in the next couple of weeks (and working on convincing the rest of the family to get themselves a collective iBook), but the point is, I'm planning on buying Apple's 20" cinema display for shared use between my new powerbook and my Windows/Linux box, I just wondered if anyone could tell me if the display is compatible with NVidia's GeForce MX 440 board. I know it's dated, I'm going to upgrade the bastard soon, but I just wonder how long I can get away without having to.

The 20" Apple Cinema Display is 1680 x 1050 with a DVI input.
A quick Google for the GeForce MX 440 showed that it only has VGA-out and not DVI-out. So, I don't think it'll work without an expensive adapter. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. The only way to guarantee thoughtful, informative discussion is to write thoughtful, informative posts.
